What is the Mercury Government Sales program?

Government sales is a program designed by Mercury Marine to allow government agencies to purchase Mercury Marine products directly from Mercury Marine or through Mercury dealers. Agencies that purchase through this program will be able to take advantage of special discounted pricing and delivery options.

Who qualifies for Government Sales?

The government sales program is available to any federal, state, or municipal agency. Educational institutions such as high schools, technical/vocational schools, colleges, and universities may also qualify. Certain tax exempt and non-profit organizations such as community rowing and sailing programs may also qualify for this program depending on the intended use of the product.

How do agencies purchase from Government Sales?

There are two ways that product can be purchased on this program, the first being directly from Mercury Marine. Agencies may contact the Government Sales department to order Mercury product. Visit the Contact Us page for more information on contacting and ordering direct.

Agencies may also purchase Mercury product through Mercury dealers. Agencies who wish to purchase product through dealers may use the Dealer Locator to find a nearby dealer. For more information in regards to purchasing through a dealer, please locate and contact your local Mercury dealer.

Mercury Marine offers the most extensive product line available in both four stroke and DFI technologies. All outboard engines meet or exceed EPA emissions standards and are CARB Star rated. This means that there is no mission, task, or assignment too big or too small for Mercury power.

Mercury Marine has opened the doors to our exclusive Mercury University to allow government agencies to send technicians and mechanics to service school at no charge. Certifications for installation, service, and warranty are available.

Also available is MercNet, Mercury's exclusive online communication system allows government agencies to enter orders, track status, look up inventory, check pricing, look up service bulletins, view parts catalogs, and access product history at the click of the mouse.
